I was asked to design a book that would review an exhibition of something to do with Graphic Design. I visited the exhibition of my fellow students who were attending the Minor Experimental Type Design, and decided I wanted to design a book about them.
I used the images shot by the students themselves and the images they posted on their blog about their assignments.
The idea of their Minor was to have a website where they post sketches and research, and an exhibition where they showcased 3 definitive works per students.
I wanted to define in my book that it is a bit too much to ask a student to present 3 definitive works, as it is about their research and devolopment as a student. So I used the photo's of their exhibition and their progress, and mix it together using the source code of the images themselves. This generated new images, glitchlike, that I presented as some new kind of artwork.
